Southgate & Sarabia Architects New Leeds Office

By Darren Southgate

Park House off Park Square West is our new home in Leeds, a commitment to a city full of opportunity and culture. We are about five minutes from Leeds Railway Station in the old heart of the city. Park Square West is a Georgian formal square, grassed and treed, in its day very fashionable as part of a new wealthy residential area, providing gentrified city centre residents with somewhere to perambulate, however in the 21st century offering our staff wellbeing space, with views from our office or space to take well earned breaks during the day. Park House is in one corner of the Square opposite St Paul’s House, a former warehouse and cloth cutting establishment, a very ornate building. A high quality area of the city home to many professionals services.

From a personal perspective, the joy of arriving at Leeds Railway Station, exiting though the new foyer, with much improved circulation, spatial delight and confidence, walking through to Park Square, the Majestic to the left, the new home of Channel 4, a fluid juxtaposition of historic outer envelope and modern interior; Trinity Shopping to the right and revitalised Park Lane offices straight ahead, describing only the tip of the iceberg in terms of recent or quality developments, gives me great confidence in our decision.

All our offices are now located within minutes of major public transport nodes, connecting all our staff, we look forward to reinforcing our business presence, commitment to the city and ongoing growth within the region.
