Southgate & Sarabia Architect’s Corporate Social Responsibility Statement – Our Commitment to People, Place and the Environment
Here at Southgate & Sarabia Architects (SASA) we live and breathe PEOPLE, PLACE and the ENVIRONMENT. We are striving to become one of the most ethical and sustainable architect practices in the UK.
Darren Southgate and Natalie Sarabia- Johnston established SASA over three years ago. As a team we have been reflecting on our first few years in business and it became apparent that people have always been at the heart of what we do.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has evolved naturally within our business strategy. However in order to recognise and champion its importance we want to formalise a policy to which all who work at SASA can adhere to. Therefore we have developed a CSR strategy that is authentic, goal driven and is the golden thread linking all we do.
Creating a formal policy helps a business focus on its own values, and how it is perceived. It encourages businesses to be self-regulating, accountable and mindful of their social and environmental responsibilities. It also offers the wider community tangible evidence of a business’s social commitments.
Here at SASA we are formally committing to up-holding our very personal CSR strategy which has been shaped by our own values and beliefs. We will use this as a catalyst for best practice in all areas of our business, and to fundamentally enhance and improve the lives of the people and places with which we work.
